This isn´t a game … is life itself. This is a study about an adaptative system based on the reading of the book
"The Quark and the Jaguar" of Murray Gell-Mann. The system is a population of images that will evolution with your help.
The images are fractal of the julia set. Each image is generated in base to a serie of parameters (colours, a point typical of fractals of the julia set and the fraction of the plane represented). I took 100 images generated at random. After that time, news images were generated by combining the parameters “genes” of the other two. An almost sexual reproduction. The birth rate of the population is set to finger at 1/100 per day. So every day is born 1 individual per 100 births.
Mutations: Sometimes the copy of the gene fails and produces a mutation. In these cases the individual is born at least one gen that doesn´t belong to neither parent, is generated at random.
The mortality rate isn´t fixed. Kills individuals who haven´t had votes in 10 days. In this way you choose those living and those whitout. Thus, it is hoped that the images that survivors are more like.
Furthermore, if this page is successful (many votes), the number of individuals of the population will grow. If, on the contrary, nobody votes, and even undermine the population may go extinct.
